About the Owners
It all started with a friendship.
Anne and Kristen met in 2021 during a work party for a company Anne and Kristen’s partner worked for. The two instantly clicked over their love of books and the rest was history.
Fast forward to 2024 when the two friends decided to take the plunge and turn their dreams into reality. Wandering Quills Bookshop was formed.
At Wandering Quills Bookshop, we believe in the power of stories to unite, inspire, and transform. As a women-owned mobile bookstore, we are committed to bringing diverse, underrepresented voices directly to the communities that need them most.
Our shelves are intentionally curated to amplify queer authors, BIPOC voices, and indie writers, ensuring that every reader can find themselves in the pages of the books we offer.
By making literature accessible and inclusive, we aim to foster empathy, identity, and ignite social change—one page, one book, and one community at a time.

I'm a math enthusiast with a passion for Star Trek, music, and diving into great books! Fiction is my go-to (though I can be a sucker for a good non-fiction read too).
My favorite genres are horror, fantasy, and science-fiction, and anything that focuses on LGBTQIA+ voices! You can find me organizing the bookstore, crunching numbers, and running our behind-the-scenes operations.
A few of my favorite authors/reads are: Wolfsong by TJ Klune, How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix, and Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree.

I am a South Korean adoptee and a lover of romance and fantasy novels (though I try to read a little bit of everything!) Reading is my perfect escape from the world and I specifically love reading stories from AAPI and other unique voices!
You can find me lurking around the bookstore, making sure all things creative are in tip-top shape as well as creating lovely content for the store.
Some of my favorite books include The Shepherd King Duology by Rachel Gillig, Before the Coffee Gets Cold series by Toshikazu Kawaguchi, and Next to You by Hannah Bonam-Young.
